PARTNERS IN JUSTICE
International partners
An important partner in the Netherlands is Stroom Den Haag, a prominent art institution that hosts an artistic research program about The Hague as the international city of peace and justice, called See You in The Hague.
Two important partners to communicate the project to the international justice community are The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law, an internationally renowned knowledge institute devoted to user-friendly justice from the Netherlands, and Knowledge Platform Security & Rule of Law, a leading knowledge platform for the international Justice sector, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who will provide us with access to their worldwide network.
The Dutch Embassy in Nigeria supports the project, among other things financially. Our academic partner in the Netherlands, VU University will help us bring across the academic outcomes to the Netherlands and Europe.
A last key partner is the Alliance Francaise in Lagos. They are providing the research team with an artist in residency program during the project and will host the presentation of the project.
Stichting Jongerenrechtbanken NL, the organisation that organizes youth courts in the Netherlands, has supported the project by giving us inspiration and guidance for the training session (Stage 2) of the informal justice court.
The Informal Justice Court Project is generously funded by Creative Industries Fund NL, Pauwhof Fonds, the Knowledge Management Fund and the Netherlands Embassy in Nigeria.
